About Me
When I stepped into my first yoga class in 2000, I was mesmerised by the sound of the breath, and everyone moving in the same way at the same time with the breath. I wanted to be part of it. I became a regular in the vinyasa class. The real revelation for me though, was not the movement of the body but how much calmer and more positive yoga made me feel. And so began my lifelong love of the practice.
Over the years, my practice has changed a lot. Injuries and limitations have given me the opportunity to explore many different styles as well as finding ways to adapt my own practice. With this curiosity came the path to teaching yoga. In 2019, I quit my full time job in education to pursue my passion to teach yoga.
I qualified as a yoga teacher in 2020 and am trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Jivamukti, Menopause Yoga, and Yoga for Hormonal Health. Sharing the practice of yoga with others is my passion, and I love continuing to learn and deepen my own journey. Since graduating, I’ve been teaching professionally, offering community classes, studio sessions, specialist charity classes, corporate yoga, and one-to-one sessions. I also run workshops, masterclasses, and weekend retreats.
I’m a lifelong student of yoga, having trained with incredible teachers including Norman Blair (Yin Yoga), Petra Coveney (Menopause Yoga), Kelsey Taylor (Yoga for Hormonal Health), and more recently, completing my 75-hour Spiritual Warrior Jivamukti training with Andrea Kwiatkowski at Jivamukti Cambridge, followed by my 300-hour Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training with Camilla Veen, Moritz Ulrich, Andrea Kwiatkowski, and Conor Byrnes.
My classes are friendly, fun, and welcoming, designed to suit all levels. Whether you’re looking for calming, grounding, and gentle sessions or dynamic, energising, and invigorating practices, there’s something for you.
