    Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds countryside, our stunning barns offer a magical setting to celebrate the Summer Solstice and the season of light.

    Join us for a 2-night retreat designed to honour this time of release, renewal, and growth. Each day will feature twice-daily nourishing yoga practices, a fully catered vegan menu, a dreamy sound bath, and plenty of time to relax, recharge, and deepen your practice.

    Savour delicious plant-based meals crafted by our talented chef, Bex. Begin and end your days with yoga sessions led by Maria, alongside our special guest teacher, Jenny. Drift into deep relaxation with a sound journey guided by Marisa, and explore other mindful activities designed to rejuvenate your body, mind, and spirit.

    Reconnect with yourself, soak in the long, sunlit days, and immerse yourself in a weekend of Summer Solstice celebration, calm, community, and self-care.

Weekend Retreat Terms & Conditions

Please ensure all the details of your booking are correct (on a separate booking form) before you make payment; after this, we cannot accept responsibility for incorrect details.

By making the deposit payment, you voluntarily accept all the below terms and conditions.

  • 1.1 Your Yoga Retreat place is secured and reserved by paying a non-refundable deposit of £100 per booking. This deposit is also non-transferable.

    The balance can be spread out across a number of weeks/months to suit your income rhythm if you prefer.

    1.2 The remaining payment is due in two instalments. Installment 1 of £200 is due 12 weeks prior to the retreat. The remaining balance is due no later than 8 weeks before the day you are due to arrive. If we do not receive your balance payment, your place may be given to another guest on our waiting list or re-sold without refund.

    1.3 Last-minute bookings (within 8 weeks of the start date) must be paid in full at the time of booking.

  • 2.1 Preferred method of payment is by Bank Transfer. Payment by Credit/Debit Card, PayPal can be arranged however additional charges apply to card & PayPal payments. Should you wish to pay this way, please contact me for a payment request link and ensure that we receive the full amount for the retreat by 8 weeks before the start date.

  • In the event where we offer a discount to some students or last-minute discount places – please note that this does not affect the status of any guests who have previously paid the full price and no discount will then become due to them.

  • Deposit: Non-refundable and non transferable.

    Up to 12 weeks before the start date: 100% refund, minus the deposit.

    Between 12-8 weeks before the start date: 50% refund, minus the deposit.

    Within 8 weeks before the start date: 0% refund will be given.

    You may cancel your retreat at any time provided that the cancellation is made by the person who booked the retreat place and is communicated to us in writing. Cancellation will take effect from the day that the written request is received by us. 

    Once your retreat has commenced, no refund or part refund or unused portion of your holiday will be repaid in the event of cancellation by you.

    Please note that if you cancel and have paid the original payment by credit/debit card or PayPal, you will receive the applicable refund less the credit/debit card or PayPal charge we have had to pay when you booked. Payment by bank transfer will have no charges applied.

  • 3.1 The retreat fees are non-negotiable. All prices are charged at the published price list available on our website and in published material.

  • 4.1 Arrival & Departure Days

    Arrival and departure are from Friday 15:00 to Sunday 14:00 for 2 night retreats. Participants wishing to arrive or leave before or after our given dates will need to provide for their accommodation and food. If arriving late or leaving early you may not be able to participate in certain sessions and there will be no reduction in fees. 

  • 5.1 Medical condition 

    By booking this retreat, you declare that you are in good physical and mental health and that you are not travelling against the advice of any doctor or qualified healthcare professional. 

    It is the responsibility of the participant to inform Maria Widdows of any pre-existing medical condition, disability or allergy which may affect their ability to participate in the yoga sessions and/or activities. We assume you will be in a fit state to join us upon your booking and any changes in health & fitness must be made in writing to Maria Widdows Yoga.

    Any participant arriving with a serious medical condition not previously reported, which requires regular staff supervision, may have their retreat terminated with no refund of fees.

    5.2 Allergies

    You must ensure that any allergies are written on the Booking Form when booking. Maria Widdows, the chef or the Retreat Centre shall not assume any liability for adverse reactions to foods consumed, or items one may come in contact with while eating at the Retreat Centre. While the Retreat Centre can make arrangements to provide foods in which allergens are not included as an ingredient, it cannot guarantee that traces of nominated food allergens can remain completely absent from dishes as these foods may be handled and stored in the same areas as nominated allergens.

    All food on the Retreat is vegetarian but other dietary requirements/allergies must be sent in writing upon booking.

  • 6.1 Retreat guests must be respectful and must not engage in offensive, illegal or immoral acts. Should this be a situation, or should a guest become a nuisance to staff, then we reserve the right to ask a guest to leave our premises or suspend their activities if it is appropriate to do so, without any compensation. 

    Maria Widdows reserves the right to refuse re-admission or to dismiss any participants in the event of serious misconduct. In such instances, there will be no refund given. 

    6.2 Damages 

    The full cost of repairing any damage caused by the participant to property or equipment owned or used by the retreat or to the personal property of another guest will be charged to the participant. You, therefore, agree to make payment in full by bank transfer.

  • Your personal information will not be shared with anybody else (except where required to do so by authorities). We will retain your information and from time to time we may contact you with our retreat related information.

  • In the event that the retreat cannot go ahead due to an extenuating circumstance forcing closure of the retreat venue, your place will be transferred to the next available retreat date or a refund (minus £25 admin fee) will be given.

    Maria Widdows Yoga reserves the right to withdraw or amend the staff in attendance and teaching on the retreat, and this does not warrant any refund or price adjustment.

    If you develop an illness where you are required to vacate the retreat immediately, and return to your permanent address as soon as possible, you will not receive a refund of any monies.

    If you are required to cancel your retreat or have the inability to travel due to illness or have the inability to travel due to non-UK government restrictions, or any other reason, you will not be offered a refund.

    Should you decide not to travel due to adverse weather conditions, you will not receive a refund.

    You are STRONGLY recommended to take travel insurance to cover any cancellations, due to family bereavements, medical issues etc.

    All cancellations must be made in writing or by email.

    Retreats Fri - Monday constitute a 2 day retreat. Daily Yoga constitutes 2 classes per full day, 1 class per half day.
